U-17 District Level Selection Concludes Successfully: Players Nominated for Province-Level Trials

Dhangadhi, Shrawan 3, 2082 – The Kailali District Football Association (KDFA) has successfully conducted the District Level U-17 Men’s Football Selection Program as part of the nationwide selection campaign announced by All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) for the upcoming AFC U-17 Championship 2082, scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka from Bhadra 30 to Ashwin 11, 2082.

The selection event was held at the Dhangadhi Regional Stadium, where above 150 of aspiring footballers born after the eligibility cut-off participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their skills.

Following rigorous evaluation by the technical team, 19 talented players from Kailali have been nominated for the Province-Level Selection to be organized by the Sudurpashchim Province Football Association. These selected players will now compete with fellow district nominees for a place in the Nepal National U-17 Team.

President of KDFA, Mr. Anil Malla, expressed his pride in the performance and discipline shown by the players, stating, "This is a golden opportunity for our youth to represent the country on an international stage. We are confident that Kailali’s talent will shine at the province level and beyond."

The selected players will be informed individually regarding the date, venue, and schedule for the province-level trials. Five coaches were involved on selection process Mr. Dispesh Khadka, Mr. Amit Bhattrai, Mr. Shankar Tiruwa, Mr. Kamal Deuba and Mr. Tek Bhattrai, while other coaces also attended the program.
