Gauriganga 11 Sports Club Claim Victory, Enters Semifinal

Match No. 5 of the Badri-Kunta Memorial District Level U-16 Smart Generation Football Championship 2026 saw Gauriganga 11 Sports Club, Gauriganga secure a convincing 3–1 full-time victory over Youth of Tikapur, Tikapur.

The match began at a high tempo, with Santosh Bohara giving Gauriganga 11 an early lead in the 7th minute. Youth of Tikapur responded quickly as Prince Rawal equalized in the 9th minute, keeping the contest competitive. However, Rabindra BK restored Gauriganga 11’s lead in the 21st minute, allowing his side to go into the break ahead.

In the second half, Gauriganga 11 maintained their composure and sealed the win when Aadarsha Saud scored in the 82nd minute. His overall performance throughout the match earned him the Man of the Match award.

With this victory, Gauriganga 11 Sports Club, Gauriganga advanced further in the championship. Their next match will be against the winner of the match between Sahara Yuva Club and Binita Smriti Youth Club.
